AMI Healthcare Staffing, part of AMI Network, is seeking a Homecare RN for a 6 months contract to hire or direct-hire opportunity to join a fantastic team in the Fremont, CA area! You will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating assigned patients. If you have at least one year of Home Care experience as a Homecare RN and are looking for an exciting new opportunity as a Homecare RN, then look no further!!

Responsibilities:

• Direct skilled care as well as supervision of care to participants receiving home care services.
• Implements and develops a home care treatment plan for participants.
• Monitors participant changes and adjusts treatment plan accordingly.
• Instructs and supervises geriatric aides and LVNs in carrying out the home care treatment plan.
• Teaches and counsels participants and family members regarding the participant’s care and safety.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in nursing or other medical fields
• Familiarity with medical software and equipment
• Ability to build rapport with patients
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• A California RN License is required for the Homecare RN role.
• Ability to work from 8-5 pm, with the flexibility to work 10-7 pm and twice a month to work a weekend day.
• 1-2 years One-year experience working with the elderly or frail population required.
