We are very excited to add a Therapist (AMFT/LMFT) to our growing team!

The main role is to develop a humanistic and empathetic relationship with those who are struggling with substance abuse disorders. Through 1:1 sessions, facilitating group sessions, creating and updating treatment plans, and crisis intervention as needed.

Knowledge of KIPU is a huge bonus, but not required!

This role starts as a contracted 3-month position, with potential to extend length.

This role is 100% remote M-F 9-5:30, equipment is not provided.

Must haves:

• An extensive knowledge of substance abuse and relapse.
• California BBS registered or licensed (AMFT/LMFT)
• Knowledge of current counseling practices and methods.
• Knowledge of and adherence to existing professional ethical standards.
• Extensive knowledge with co-occurring mood disorders.
• Familiar with KIPU (big plus, but not required)
• Understanding of grief and loss and how it affects the emotional well-being of clients.
