I’m working with a nationally recognized medical group based out of California to fill an opening for a Regional Medical Officer!
This organization has over 26 clinic locations in California and Nevada, with their bread and butter specialty being pain management and rehab services.
We’re looking for a tenured and knowledgeable physician leader who’s well-versed in the world of pain management and experienced in multiple site operations.
In this role, you’ll be covering their northern territory from Selinas up to Sacramento, overseeing 16 clinics and their providers. You’ll direct the operations of the organization and enhance processes and workflows that are already in place, create and implement new processes that you deem beneficial, along with driving growth and acquisition plans for the future!
In the last few years, they’ve already grown tremendously and are looking for a driven leader who’s motivated, experienced, and passionate about quality healthcare services!

Responsibilities:
• Participates in establishing and implementing clear standards and expectations for the professional performance of providers to achieve:
• Excellence in patient satisfaction scores, including enhancing the patient experience and quality of services provided
• Excellence in cost effective care, implementing efficiencies targeting resource optimization/ expense reduction/
• Works primarily with the physician community around patient issues, clinical care and clinical concerns.
• Collaborates with Regional Vice President, Clinical Operations, and with clinic leaders to prioritize initiatives and identify the appropriate implementation plans for all improvement initiatives.
• Works with Medical Directors, Clinical Quality/Outcomes, to support the integration of Quality Improvement programs.
• Leads onboarding discussions with newly acquired practices; sets appropriate and customized performance expectations in collaboration with the practice.
• Develops and monitors KPIs and other management metrics to track and maximize performance; reports business performance data to the CMO and other key stakeholders as applicable.
• Champions and supports patient safety and patient experience initiatives, to include patient satisfaction and access.
• Collaborates with regional leaders on clinical care coordination to identify and support reductions in the cost of care through appropriate institutional utilization and resource management by the service line.
• Participates in preparing annual clinical budget and forecasts growth among different service lines in the organization.
• Assists in planning and implementation of lower cost alternatives to institutional care, where appropriate
