ABA Behavioral Health Technician

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated ABA Behavioral Health Technician to join our team! In this position as a ABA Behavioral Health Technician, you will work directly with our clients to implement their individualized ABA therapy program. You will be responsible for building and maintaining rapport, keeping up to date on programming goals, and implementing appropriate changes when directed by the BCBA for this child.

As an ABA Behavioral Health Technician, you will provide direct ABA therapy to our clients, take data on each skill, and complete program sheets for skills taught daily. You will work closely with parents and other therapists/lead therapists/BCBA on issues, concerns, and progress, and communicate effectively with them to ensure the best outcomes for our clients. You will also have the opportunity to engage in ongoing staff training as requested by the BCBA to continually enhance your skills.

Hours: 8AM-5PM

To be successful in this role as a ABA Behavioral Health Technician, you must:

  • Have a valid driver’s license and current car insurance on your vehicle
  • CPR certification
  • RBT certification maintained. We will provide training and pay for licensing and testing fees for your RBT.
  • You must be physically present at the assigned job site and be able to travel to and from different areas served by the company.
  • Additionally, you must have manual dexterity sufficient to regularly perform various keyboard functions, give and receive detailed information through oral communication, and have visual acuity including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

This role as a ABA Behavioral Health Technician will start as a 3-6 months Contract to Hire Non-Benefited role through AMI Healthcare Staffing, a division of AMI Network. Benefits are offered upon permanent hire.
