AMI Healthcare Staffing, part of AMI Network, is currently partnering with a wonderful large, multi-locations clinic to staff the following roles: RN Lead
Core Responsibilities
Supervise 7 staff members
Provide direct and indirect patient care to clinic clients; initiate and implement patient care plan; perform functions of an RN.
Plan and conduct daily huddle of nurse appointment schedule.
Triage patient information who walk-in or call-in and establish priorities according to their age, symptoms, and psychological needs per nursing triage protocol; consult with Provider and/or RN regarding nursing decision and/or care plan. Acquire additional patient information, as needed and/or delegated, by the Provider to identify progress and trends that require intervention.
Assess emergency situations, critical lab values, and urgent condition changes and immediately report them to the appropriate Provider.
Assess patient educational needs and find opportunities in patient contact to provide general health information and help promote healthy lifestyles as culturally appropriate.
Coordinate with Providers on patient care, medication authorization, refill, and patient medication assistance program according to the agency’s protocol and procedures.
Monitor clinic flow and perform duties as necessary to ensure efficiency of patient care.
Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as ordered by Providers; assist with procedures as directed by Providers.
Order vaccines and lab tests for patients, and collect, handle, and process lab specimens appropriately and according to policies and procedures.
Maintain standards of accurate and complete recordkeeping and reporting.
Maintain medical crash cart, medication cabinet, and medication draw in the procedures room fully stocked and neat with medication, instruments, and medical supplies.
Call, respond and assist in Code Blue Emergency Response.
Support and enforce infection control policies, practices and procedures.
Position Requirements
Education
Completion of a Registered Nurse program.
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, preferred.
Experience
0-2 years of experience as an RN for RN roles.
3-5 years of experience for a Lead or Supervisor RN.
Preferably in ambulatory nursing such as public health, community health or equivalent; bilingual in English and second language preferred.
Certification/License – Current WA State RN licensure.
