Your job.

Assisting the VP of Staffing Solutions and the Operations Manager oversee the A-to-Z functions of running a Staffing Agency on a full-time basis. This means you are a team player, very organized and a squeaky wheel to get the task done.

Daily Functions are:

  • Effectively manage onboarding documents and ensure the process includes all up-to-date and required steps
  • Utilizing E-Verify, verify I-9 documentation and maintaining I-9 files
  • Authorize employees for pre-screening health at a partnering local urgent care
  • Process reports for payroll prep as needed, as well as reports to send to clients
  • Following up with temporary staff on a weekly basis for call outs, sick time, concerns, etc.
  • Collect timekeeping information, and relay pay-related information to employees
  • Update employee records and maintain organization of files
  • Assist employees and supervisors with basic interpretation of basic HR policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc. and refer more complex questions to appropriate HR department staff
  • Stay compliant with state requirements. (EX: Sexual Harassment Course for all employees, sending forms required by the state, etc.)
  • Research on going solutions for everyday hurdles
  • Responding to EDD Claims, Unemployment Claims, Wage Garnishments, State employment Compliance, etc.
  • Pick up mail and distribute between the correct channels
