Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Top Healthcare Company has partnered with AMI Healthcare Staffing, part of AMI Network and is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team for a contract to hire role in Salinas, CA. As an RN, you will be responsible for providing excellent patient care to individuals suffering from chronic pain.
Responsibilities:
Assessing patients' health needs and developing personalized treatment plans in collaboration with the team of doctors and other healthcare providers
Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by the physicians
Conducting patient education on medication management, pain management techniques, and general health education
Collaborating with the team of healthcare providers to ensure seamless patient care coordination and management
Documenting patient care in electronic health records and maintaining accurate medical records
Adhering to HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality
Providing excellent customer service and maintaining a positive and professional demeanor at all times
Requirements:
Valid Nurse Practitioner and NP Furnishing license in the state of California
Valid RN license
Current DEA and NPI #
Current BLS, PALS, and ACLS Certificate
Board Certified NP certificate
Current PECOS and CURES login
Master's Degree.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in pain management or related field
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in electronic health records and other computer applications
Commitment to providing exceptional patient care
