Salary: $64,480-$79,028.00

Position Description:
Case Manager Supervisor providing oversight to SAYFE case managers
Program staffed by a multi-disciplinary team providing community-oriented and strengths-based services to children, youth, and their families
Direct supervision of para-professional staff, including training new staff, case assignment, documentation review, collaboration with county partners, and program development
Core Competencies:

Ability to train, coach, and supervise professional and paraprofessional staff

Case management, mentoring, coaching, and facilitation skills
Empowers staff in evaluating complex and crisis situations
Effective communication skills
Essential Functions:
Recruit, train, and supervise case managers who serve San Mateo County youth between the ages of 6-18
Provide counseling and behavioral interventions, guidance, skills-building, and support in accordance with each client’s individualized treatment plan and program’s treatment philosophy and model
Provide services to 6-18-year-olds and their families in various settings
Engage family members and caregivers as full partners in service planning, delivery, and evaluation
Ensure client safety and well-being
Implement clinical policies and procedures
Contribute to organization-wide quality management and improvement efforts
Provides oversight to all youth and family cases referred to the program from county and community referral sources
Fosters an atmosphere of effective teamwork
Demonstrates initiative and an orientation to achieving results
Supports organizational innovation, change and growth
Demonstrates cultural competency and sensitivity
Provides direct supervision and consultation to case management staff and paraprofessionals
Provides crisis support and on-call support to program and staff
Collaborates in the development and delivery of training curriculums for staff
Coordinates and consults on existing client care plans
Ensures staff maintain appropriate, accurate, and timely documentation and case records
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree required
Two years of related experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with families, youth, and an interdisciplinary team
