A local San Francisco Non-Profit Healthcare organization providing mental health care, social services, and academic support for children and youth is seeking a Program Coordinator.

Direct hire, permanent position accepting candidates immediately for next week's interviews.

Job Type: Full Time, hybrid, non-exempt role Monday to Friday, no weekends in San Mateo.

Salary: $26.50 to $29.15

Program Description:

  • TAY Full-Service Partnership Program provides community-based services to 50 young adults (ages 16-25) with the highest mental health needs in San Mateo County
  • Program relies on diverse staff and innovative model to meet the needs of an underserved population
  • Position Summary:
  • Program Coordinator works with the Behavioral Health Director and TAY FSP management team
  • Oversees administrative and operational functions of the TAY FSP program and TAY services department
  • Core Competencies:
  • Develops and uses systems to organize and track information and work progress
  • Balances conflicting priorities to manage workflow, ensure project completion, and meet deadlines
  • Displays high-quality, professional verbal and written skills
  • Ability to use technology accurately and thoroughly for communication, project management, and training materials creation
  • Essential Functions:
  • Maintains documentation tracking for all TAY FSP clients
  • Participates on TAY FSP Leadership Team to evaluate service delivery and program efficacy
  • Supports recruitment and onboarding processes for TAY FSP new hires
  • Organizes community-resource workshops and training series
  • Provides guidance and training to staff and leaders on documentation, HIPAA, and privacy matters, and program policies and procedures
  • Provides logistics coordination for Family Conferences
  • Manages operational spending funds for the program and reconciles program credit card
  • Attends and actively participates in supervision
  • Maintains positive work relationships
  • Facilitates a safe and welcoming environment in the workplace

Applied Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 5 years of experience in program/project management position
  • Experience facilitating groups or training
  • Demonstrates effective project management skills
  • Thinks independently and can make informed high-level judgment calls when needed
  • Exercises extreme discretion, with the ability to hold, balance and transmit public and confidential information needed by various parties
  • Maintains a strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Demonstrates outstanding written and oral communication skills
  • Maintains proficiency using MS Office products, particularly Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Sensitivity to the cultural diversity of employees and clients

Job Type: Full-time
