We are partnered with an amazing Hospital system searching for a Director of Surgical Services to oversee a staff of about 10 Operating Room Nurses within a smaller Hospital in Los Angeles, CA.
The ideal candidate will be a Registered Nurse with a strong Operating Room or Surgical Services management background, and passionate about leading a team!

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
Core Responsibilities:
Demonstrates leadership skills including the ability to plan, prioritize, organize, analyze, execute on multiple tasks and in collaboration with other hospital departments, providing direction and setting expectations consistent with the goals of the organization
Effectively manage financial resources within the area(s) of responsibility including labor management, productivity, supplies, and other resources
Responsible for maintaining staffing compliance within regulatory requirements and budget consideration
Responsible for maintaining department Performance Improvement and Quality Plans
Develops, implements and maintains Customer Service Improvement Plan including employee, patients, visitors and physicians
Responsible for assessing educational and skill needs for staff in area of responsibility.
Also responsible for developing and implementing plan to meet above needs
Effectively manage financial and human resources within the area(s) of responsibility and in collaboration with other hospital departments, providing direction and setting expectations consistent with the goals of the organization
Maintains current competencies as well as updated knowledge in specific area of practice
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
Current RN licensed in good standing by the California State Board of Nursing
3 years' nurse management experience (surgical or perioperative services)
