Job Title: Behavioral Health Technician (VALID RADT/SUDRC/RAC Certification Required)
Shifts available: 7am-3:30pm, 11pm-7:30am OR 3-11:30pm
Contract: 2+ weeks
As a Behavioral Health Technician, you will provide vital support to individuals struggling with substance use disorders and mental health conditions. Your role will mainly involve assisting patients with daily activities, implementing treatment plans, and ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
Support individuals with substance use disorders and mental health conditions throughout their recovery journey.
Assist patients with their daily activities, including medication distribution, mealtime, hygiene, and recreational activities.
Monitor patient behavior and report any changes or concerns to the clinical team promptly.
Implement treatment plans and therapeutic interventions under the guidance of licensed professionals.
Organize and facilitate group therapy sessions, educational workshops, and recreational activities.
Contribute to a safe and supportive environment for patients, enforcing guidelines and rules consistently.
Qualifications:
Valid RADT (Registered Alcohol and Drug Technician), SUDRC (Substance Use Disorder Recovery Counselor), or RAC (Recovery Assistant Credential) certification is required.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in behavioral health or related field is a plus.
Demonstrated commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adherence to professional ethics.
