The Accounting Manager is the boss of the accounting team. They analyze accounting data, make amazing financial reports using GAAP, and make sure everything follows the accounting methods, policies, and procedures.
Responsibilities:
Make sure the monthly financial statements are accurate within 10 business days.
Go over or prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
Review or prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
Supervise general ledger accounting functions and staff.
Oversee Accounts Payable operations.
Help out with audits and tax return prep
Do some cool analysis and projects when needed
Keep info on the lowdown – confidential.

Supervisory Duties:
Recruit, train, and appraise employees.
Assign tasks and oversee work.
Resolve internal issues.
Direct and evaluate staff.
Skills & Experience:
Got at least 5 years of accounting experience and want to see you move up the ladder.
At least 3 years of being a boss.
Experience in the healthcare industry, preferably with a medical group or IPA.
Strong technical accounting skills and understanding of GAAP.
Familiarity with Sage Intacct is a plus.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a business-related field.
MBA or CPA certification preferred.
