Vice President of Medical Case Management

We are partnered with one of the largest and most successful health systems in the country searching for a new Regional Vice President to oversee Case Management and Utilization Management for their Los Angeles region. This is a very exciting time to join this team as they are currently experiencing very positive growth!

The CEO is focused on finding an executive-level Registered Nurse who is passionate about providing leadership to a large team in a fast-paced environment. Years of experience making meaningful and measurable improvements to large-scale Care Management programs is highly preferred.

This organization is very well-respected in the industry for their incredibly effective inpatient and outpatient Managed Care programs. The VP will have plenty of resources and funding available to maximize operational efficiency; in turn, ensuring both staff and patient satisfaction.

Job Description:

  • Oversight, management, and optimization of all Clinical Quality Improvement (CQI), UM and Care Management activities as they relate to inpatient, social service, home health, DME and other healthcare delivery programs. 
  • Participates in the development, implementation, and maintenance of all programs to ensure that patient care maximizes quality and continuity by utilization of appropriate resources and  to inpatient care within the parameters of health plan benefits and established contracts. 
  • Ensure the clinical, quality, financial and patient satisfaction outcomes of the region.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college preferred (Nursing, Healthcare Administration or related field)
  • Current California RN license required
  • 4+ years management experience in a fast-paced Managed Care environment (preferably with HMO)

Compensation will be commensurate with experience and education.
