Job Summary: Our leading nonprofit client in San Francisco is seeking a skilled and dedicated Float Dietitian to join their team. The Float Dietitian will primarily be responsible for providing support to various centers throughout the week. This may involve filling in for vacancies, vacation or leave of absence, or covering for sick calls at different locations.
Responsibilities:
Visit different centers within the assigned schedule to provide dietetic services
Fill in for vacant positions, vacations, or leaves of absence at various locations
Provide coverage for sick calls at different centers, either physically or remotely
Deliver valuable dietetic counseling and nutritional assessments to clients/patients
Create personalized diet plans based on individual needs and goals
Conduct regular follow-ups to ensure ongoing progress and make necessary adjustments
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient/client interactions and progress
Stay up-to-date with the latest research and developments in the field of nutrition and dietetics
Attend training sessions and professional development activities as required
Requirements:
Must hold a valid license as a Registered Dietitian
Fluency in English is mandatory, with proficiency in Cantonese or Mandarin being preferred
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients/patients of diverse backgrounds
Strong knowledge of nutrition and ability to provide evidence-based dietary recommendations
Demonstrated experience in conducting nutritional assessments and developing personalized diet plans
Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and provide effective coverage as needed
Excellent organizational and time management skills to manage a flexible schedule
A high degree of flexibility and willingness to travel to different locations as required
