We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our clinical team. As a licensed practitioner, you will provide out-patient psychiatric health services to children and adult caregivers. Collaborating with our team of mental health professionals, you will play a key role in delivering diagnostic assessments, medication management, and patient-centered care.
Responsibilities:
Perform mental health services, including diagnostic evaluations and medication management.
Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess patient needs.
Educate patients on medications, risks, and benefits.
Provide patient care in both in-person and telemedicine settings.
Maintain accurate patient documentation in the EMR system.
Collaborate effectively with the treatment team, education staff, and organizational leadership.
Demonstrate knowledge of trauma-informed care and current clinical practices.
Show strong organizational skills, managing multiple tasks efficiently.
Possess fluency in English, with Spanish proficiency preferred.
Qualifications:
Master of Science in Nursing with a Psychiatric/Mental Health emphasis from an accredited program.
Current Texas licensure, Certified in Psychiatric & Mental Health (PMHNP).
Active, Federal DEA certificate/number.
Proficiency in basic desktop software, medical practice management, and electronic medical record systems.
Adherence to HIPAA rules and regulations.
