As Medical Scribe, you will be responsible for accurately documenting patient encounters and assisting the healthcare provider with various administrative tasks. This is a great opportunity to gain valuable experience in the healthcare field while working in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
Document patient encounters, procedures, and treatments accurately and efficiently in the electronic health record (EHR)
Assist the healthcare provider with charting, order entry, and other administrative tasks as needed
Translate for the healthcare provider during patient encounters as necessary
Ensure that all documentation complies with legal and regulatory requirements, as well as the clinic's policies and procedures
Maintain patient confidentiality at all times
Attend meetings and training sessions as required
Requirements:
Ability to type at least 50 words per minute
Experience with electronic health records (EHRs) preferred
Knowledge of medical terminology and basic anatomy and physiology
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Must be able to work on-site at the clinic in Emeryville, CA
