We are seeking a qualified and experienced Triage RN for a temp to hire or direct hire role, manage the flow of triage operations within our organization. The Triage Unit RN plays a critical role in ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of the triage process, adhering to our policies and procedures.
**Responsibilities:**
Conduct phone and face-to-face patient assessments as part of the triage process, recognizing urgent care needs, and documenting accurately.
Facilitate patient flow within the healthcare facility, ensuring efficient patient care delivery.
Ensure the appropriate utilization of medical supplies and equipment for patient care.
Communicate changes and improvement opportunities to the healthcare team, ensuring clear and effective dissemination of information.
Maintain a patient-centric approach, ensuring that patient care is efficient, effective, and compassionate.
Respond to emergencies promptly and effectively, demonstrating sound judgment and clinical expertise.
Stay up-to-date with current medical practices, regulations, and standards to provide safe and effective patient care.
Promote a professional and confidential patient care environment, upholding the highest standards of ethics and integrity.
Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment by actively participating in team meetings and discussions.
Continuously enhance personal and professional development by seeking opportunities for education and growth.
Qualifications:
Current RN license in the State of California.
Two years of experience as a registered nurse
Recent experience in a clinic or outpatient setting.
BLS certification.
Bachelor's degree in Nursing (preferred.)
Fluency in English and at least one of the following languages: Thai, Khmer, Tagalog, Vietnamese, or Spanish. (preferred)
