We're on the hunt for a dynamic and self-motivated Family Nurse Practitioner, capable of caring for patients of all ages in the charming rural community of Quartzsite, AZ. The clinic is proudly owned and operated by our client and we offer competitive compensation based on your experience, along with an excellent benefits package.

Here's what you can expect:

• Clinic hours are Monday-Friday, 8 am to 5:30 pm. No on-call duties, but you might occasionally assist in other Hospital-Owned Clinics when needed.
• The majority of your practice (65%) will involve Medicare patients, with a surge in patient volume during the winter months. Anticipate seeing 25-28 patients daily.

Job Summary:As a Family Nurse Practitioner, your primary focus will be on providing essential healthcare to patients and their families, emphasizing health maintenance, disease prevention, patient education, and counseling. You'll work under the direct supervision of a physician, adhering to established guidelines within your scope of practice.

For the right candidate, there's a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance available. Additionally, you'll need to obtain CDL certification as a Medical Examiner within 6 months of your hire date.

Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Arizona
• Master's Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner's Program
• National Certification as a Nurse Practitioner or certification eligibility
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner
• Certification must be obtained within the first six (6) months of employment
• Current BCLS Certification
• Current ACLS Certification and PALS within 6 months of hire date
• Must have CDL Certification within 6 months of hire date for performing physicals
• Skills: Basic computer knowledge, EMR familiarity, the ability to perform minor office surgeries, apply casts and splints, and suture lacerations
