Position Overview:

As a vital member of our Interdisciplinary Hospice Team, the Hospice Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse (LVN/LPN) plays a crucial role in delivering skilled nursing and palliative care to our assigned hospice patients. Working under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, you will provide intermittent visits or shifts of skilled nursing care, administer prescribed medical treatments, including pain management and symptom control, offer nursing observations, provide education on disease progression, care techniques, and health measures to patients, families, or primary caregivers. Additionally, you will actively contribute to the development and execution of patient care plans.

Key Qualifications:

Education:

  • Graduation from an accredited school of vocational/practical nursing.

Credentials:

  • Current California LVN/LPN license.

Experience:

  • Minimum of one year of experience as an LVN/LPN.
