I've been engaged by one of Queens' most well-established mental health organizations to recruit their next Director of Clinical Operations (LCSW), and I thought it might be up your alley. Here are the answers to the questions I'd have if I were in your shoes:
What drives them? They're a non-profit who truly cares more about impact than money. EVERYTHING they do revolves around improving the health of their patients (happy to elaborate on this over the phone)
What's their trajectory? UP! They are maintaining momentum built from lessons-learned during the pandemic to expand into a "one-stop-shop" approach for mental health needs.
What's the team-culture like? Stable and passionate--most team-members have been in their role for 5-15+ years. They insist on excellence and care deeply about the impact of their work, while prioritizing strong support systems for their team in the midst of growth.
Where would I be working? You'll be working in a hybrid model (on-site 3 days/wk, remote 2 days/wk)
And what's my role in all of this? You'll offer your clinical and operational expertise directly to 3 experienced clinical supervisors reporting to you, and indirectly, to the 30+ clinicians on the team.
You'll collaborate closely with the CPO to play a major role in organizational growth-iniatives, like the current IPO program kick-offs and SUD program expansion, and in fostering an enduring, supportive work-culture.
If you want an opportunity to join this team in making an impact with an underserved community, then I recommend we have an exploratory conversation. Hit interested, and let’s set up some time to connect this week!
