We're partnered with a growing community-based healthcare organization in Merced County to find their next Director of Safety, Risk & Compliance (DSRC) to drive high-quality patient care and service. Your role is vital in ensuring the safety and well-being of patients, staff, and visitors through proactive risk management and safety initiatives.
Director of Safety, Risk & Compliance Key Responsibilities:
Conduct safety and risk assessments to identify potential hazards.
Develop and implement risk management policies and procedures.
Oversee organizational safety programs and evaluate their effectiveness.
Collaborate with department heads to foster a culture of safety.
Analyze incident reports and patient complaints to identify improvement areas.
Investigate adverse events and implement corrective actions.
Manage equipment issues, including repair and calibration.
Provide staff training on risk and safety management principles.
Coordinate with insurance providers on claims and risk exposures.
Stay updated on healthcare risk and safety management trends.
Prepare reports for senior leadership and regulatory agencies.
Ensure compliance with OIG, CMS, and Cal-OSHA regulations.
Director of Safety, Risk & Compliance??????? Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, RN, or a related field.
3-5 years of healthcare management experience in compliance, safety, and risk.
Knowledge of FQHCs and familiarity with FTCA and Cal-OSHA safety standards
