Additional Compensation: Up to $1,500 annual bilingual differential based on proficiency

Position Overview: Reporting to the Director of Services, this full-time, exempt role oversees trauma-informed Specialty Mental Health Services at the “ICARE” Clinic and Drop-in Center. Responsibilities include program development, daily operations, staff management, budget oversight, and ensuring compliance with San Diego County Children, Youth, and Families Behavioral Health Services’ Medi-Cal requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Staff Management: Oversee hiring, training, supervision, and evaluation of staff, interns, and volunteers.
Compliance & Reporting: Maintain statistical systems for contract compliance and ensure timely reporting to funding sources.
Program Monitoring: Track progress in achieving service delivery goals and ensure trauma-informed practices.
Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to San Diego County documentation standards and billing timelines.
Collaboration: Build and maintain relationships with community agencies and participate in collaborative initiatives.
Crisis Response: Handle urgent matters as per on-call procedures, including outside normal business hours.
Preferred Qualifications:
Licensed Psychologist, LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC in California with 3+ years of related experience, including direct mental health service.
Experience in crisis intervention, youth counseling, and working with at-risk children and families.
Training in MI, Seeking Safety, TF-CBT, and Family Systems Theory (or willingness to train).
Familiarity with the County Electronic Health Record (Cerner) and trauma-informed care.
Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
A reliable vehicle, clean driving record, and valid CA driver’s license are required.
