Job Title: Teacher – Early Care and Learning Program Location: Antelope Valley Pay: $24.50-$26.94 per hour
Summary:
As a Teacher, you'll stimulate learning for children ages birth to 5, support family engagement, and guide your teaching team. You’ll develop goals, assess progress, and ensure a smooth transition to kindergarten.
Responsibilities:
Manage daily classroom activities.
Supervise, evaluate, and mentor teaching staff.
Develop and implement lesson plans and assessments.
Adapt curriculum to meet the needs of all children.
Maintain a safe, clean, and engaging environment.
Collaborate with families and conduct regular communication.
Ensure compliance with all regulations and reporting requirements.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s in Early Education, Child Development, or related field (24 ECE units required, including 3 in Infant/Toddler Development).
Experience: 2 years in a preschool setting.
Certifications: CPR/First Aid, California Child Development Teacher Permit (or eligibility).
Skills: Intermediate tech skills, effective communication, organization, and problem-solving.
Must meet background and health clearance requirements.
Preferred:
3 years of experience in early childhood education.
