The Family Nurse Practitioner is primarily responsible for providing medical services to patients and ensuring their overall well-being.
Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care for at least 40 hours during a standard workweek and document clinical notes.
Uphold and demonstrate the highest standards of medical ethics at all times.
Participate in the development of clinical policies and procedures.
Attend all staff and Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) meetings.
Provide Saturday coverage as needed, at least once a month.
Adhere to all organizational protocols and policies.
Share on-call duties with other clinicians.
Complete all EHR tasks, including medication refills, within 72 hours.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Chief Medical Officer (CMO).
Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Education
Current valid license to practice medicine in California and DEA registration.
Graduate of an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner program.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Experience practicing as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
Interest in working in a non-profit, community clinic setting.
