Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of individuals facing mental health and substance use challenges? The Neighborhood House Association (NHA) is seeking a dedicated and dynamic leader to head our Project In-Reach program, focused on supporting incarcerated individuals as they transition back to the community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Innovative Program Development: Create outreach initiatives for incarcerated individuals (18+) at risk of mental health and substance use issues.
  • Comprehensive Service Integration: Lead mental health services, including case management, group and individual counseling, and crisis intervention.
  • Collaborative Care Coordination: Assess client needs and coordinate care with various community resources to ensure a holistic approach.
  • Empower Staff: Supervise and mentor a passionate team, ensuring high standards of care and professional development.
  • Impactful Evaluation: Monitor program effectiveness and implement improvements based on client feedback and performance metrics.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Educational Background: Master’s or Doctorate in social work, psychology, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 4 years in mental health settings, including 2 years in a managerial role, preferably with experience in corrections and substance use treatment.
  • Licensing: Preferred Clinical Social Worker or Counseling license in California, with additional certifications in addiction counseling as a bonus.
  • Skills: Strong communication, analytical, and leadership abilities, with a commitment to serving diverse communities.
