About the Role:
As a Program Director (Licensed Clinical Social Worker / Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist), you'll be at the heart of the action, leading and overseeing all aspects of our outpatient program in San Jose. You'll supervise a close-knit team of clinicians and support staff, ensuring everything runs smoothly while offering hands-on leadership.
Responsibilities:
Carry a small caseload (2-3 clients as needed), offering individual and family therapy as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker / Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.
Assess potential clients and recommend the best level of care.
Run dynamic weekly group sessions, including our engaging “Multi-family Group.”
Collaborate with the team to create innovative group curricula.
Set program goals and guide the team in achieving them with creativity and precision.
Offer guidance to program staff during regular meetings to solve complex cases.
Periodically review client treatment plans to ensure high-quality care.
Oversee program documentation, ensuring it meets all regulatory standards.
Supervise the maintenance of electronic medical records to keep everything running like clockwork.
Plan, research, and implement new or enhanced services to keep our program top-notch.
Managerial:
Interview, hire, and nurture your team, ensuring they have the training and development they need to thrive.
Identify staff training needs and make sure they get the right support.
Evaluate staff performance and, when necessary, provide discipline or support through performance improvement plans.
Keep your team updated on all policies, procedures, and organizational goals.
Oversee intake and discharge processes.
Lead weekly treatment team meetings to make sure treatment plans are on point.
Jump in to support clinical services like community meetings, crisis interventions, and discharge planning as needed.
Build and maintain relationships with referral sources, community organizations, and social services agencies to strengthen our program’s impact.
What We’re Offering:
A competitive salary between $135,000 and $145,000, plus a sign-on bonus up to $5,000!

Qualifications:
Licensed in California as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker / Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT, LCSW), or LPCC.
Strong clinical judgment and therapeutic skills.
Experience with adolescents and co-occurring disorders in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively with staff.
Preferred Skills:
Experience working with teens facing mental health and substance abuse issues.
