Join a dedicated team providing substance use disorder (SUD) services and support to the community. You’ll play a key role in a program designed to help individuals facing co-occurring disorders in their recovery journey. Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and support residents, ensuring compliance with daily schedules.
Document client behavior, interventions, and treatment progress.
Respond to phone calls and crises, and provide referrals and information.
Address client misbehavior, ensuring safety and discipline as needed.
Assist with office tasks and facility maintenance.
Handle medication distribution during scheduled times.
Ensure workplace safety for staff, clients, and visitors.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Bilingual in Spanish and English (or proficient in Spanish).
Familiarity with substance abuse recovery principles and the impact of addiction.
Experience working with adults, particularly in residential settings.
Ability to manage client issues in both mental health and substance use recovery.
CPR and First Aid certified (can be obtained upon hire).
Competent with MS Office and Google Drive.
Valid CA driver’s license and auto insurance.
Must meet COVID-19 vaccination requirements.
