In this vital role, you'll be at the forefront of a dynamic team delivering essential clinical support and services to individuals in need, while shaping the future of integrated mental health and substance use care in the community.

Why Apply?

  • Make a Difference: Help individuals with severe mental illness (SMI), co-occurring disorders (COD), and substance use challenges lead more fulfilling lives. By providing clinical support and coordinating care, you'll play a pivotal role in their journey to recovery.

  • Leadership Opportunity: As the Field Services Manager, you'll lead and inspire a diverse team of Care Coordinators, Peer Support Specialists, clinicians, and interns in our Urgent Walk-In Department. Your leadership will directly impact service delivery and staff development, ensuring clients receive the highest standard of care.

  • Comprehensive & Impactful Services: The Healing Oaks Clinic offers a unique, hybrid model combining outpatient services, Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT), and mobile outreach. You’ll be part of a comprehensive, client-centered approach that includes mental health counseling, recovery services, vocational support, and specialized care for transitional-aged youth, perinatal women, justice-involved individuals, and more.

  • Collaborative Environment: Work within a multidisciplinary team of professionals, including Nurse Practitioners, clinicians, case managers, and peer support specialists, to coordinate care, facilitate referrals, and ensure clients receive the services they need.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate Care: Lead and manage clinical operations for the Urgent Walk-In Department, overseeing psychosocial screenings, assessments, and ensuring clients are connected to appropriate mental health and substance use disorder services.

  • Direct Client Care: Provide direct clinical services when needed, perform crisis interventions, and advocate for clients within the broader network of community agencies.

  • Leadership & Supervision: Mentor and supervise a team of registered clinicians, peer support specialists, and interns. Build a culture of collaboration and professional development.

  • Develop Partnerships: Cultivate relationships with internal and external partners to expand service options and resources for clients. Support and facilitate seamless referrals to other treatment programs.

  • Administrative Oversight: Maintain schedules, ensure proper documentation, and assist in program evaluations to maintain high standards of care and regulatory compliance.

What We're Looking For:

  • Clinical Expertise: A Master's degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, or a related field. License preferred (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or similar preferred), along with a deep understanding of mental health, substance use treatment, and trauma-informed care practices.

  • Leadership Experience: At least 2 years of leadership experience, preferably in a behavioral health setting, where you’ve led teams and supervised clinical staff in high-pressure, client-focused environments.

  • Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion: Experience working with a culturally diverse population, including Latino, African American, LGBTQIA+, and other underserved communities, is essential.

  • Bilingual Skills a Plus: While not required, bilingual proficiency in Spanish is a significant asset, enabling you to connect with a broader community of clients.

  • Hands-on Experience: Experience with mental health diagnoses, therapeutic approaches like Motivational Interviewing, and case management for clients with complex needs is highly desirable.
