Peer Respite Supervisor – Neptune Forensic Peer Respite Program Location: San Leandro, CA Position Type: Contract-to-Hire, Full-Time (40 hours/week) Salary: $66,560 annually
Position Overview:
The Peer Respite Supervisor will manage the Neptune Forensic Peer Respite Program, ensuring high-quality, trauma-informed services for individuals with mental health and justice system involvement. This role is responsible for overseeing staff, ensuring program compliance, and maintaining budget and contract requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Program & Staff Management: Supervise, train, and develop program staff. Ensure service delivery is culturally responsive, goal-driven, and trauma-informed.
Budget & Compliance: Monitor the program’s budget and performance. Ensure compliance with state and county regulations and submit required reports to funders.
Data & Reporting: Track program outcomes using KPIs and provide regular updates on progress.
Emergency Response: Be prepared to handle emergencies and maintain smooth program operations in the absence of the Program Director.
Training & Development: Facilitate training sessions and professional development for staff.
Contract Liaison: Serve as the point of contact for funders, ensuring the program meets contract goals and deadlines.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field, or Mental Health Peer Support Certification with 5+ years of relevant experience.
Experience: At least 2 years of experience working with justice-involved adults and/or adults with mental health challenges. Residential experience is a plus.
Skills: Proficient in MS Office and Google Drive. Strong organizational and communication skills.
Requirements: Valid CA driver’s license, personal vehicle (with insurance), and proof of COVID-19 vaccination (including booster).
