Job Role
As a Physical Therapist with our leading client, you’ll conduct in-person evaluations for patients with knee, back, or hip pain, and custom-fit our FDA-cleared Apos® device to enhance their mobility and reduce pain.
Key Responsibilities
Master gait biomechanics and the Apos® Device for effective rehabilitation.
Perform and track physical therapy evaluations, both in-person and via telehealth.
Provide interventions, make clinical decisions, and support business partners and staff.
Maintain accurate patient records and manage inventory for partner sites.
Ensure patient privacy and confidentiality in line with HIPAA guidelines.
Participate in special projects and complete continuing education.
Required Skills
Flexible hours, including some weekends and late shifts.
Proficient with telemedicine technology and MS Office.
Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
Empathetic and compassionate when interacting with patients.
Willing to obtain licensure in other states as needed.
Experience with DME devices in physical rehabilitation.
Requirements
Located in New York City and willing to travel across the five boroughs.
Active Physical Therapy license in New York State.
3 years of Physical Therapy experience, including 2 years in outpatient settings.
CPR/BLS certification and a valid driver’s license.
Access to broadband for video visits and ability to work at a desk for extended periods.
Education and Experience
3-5 years as a Physical Therapist.
Work Environment
In-person work at physical therapy clinics, employer sites, and patients' homes in New York City.
Remote work as needed, with occasional travel to partner sites and other states.
