Position Overview:
Our leading nonprofit client is seeking a Staff Therapist to provide individual, family, and group therapy to clients under the Certified Community Behavioral Health Center (CCBHC). You will also engage in community outreach, lead psychoeducational workshops, and create supportive spaces for individuals in need. This role involves collaboration with internal teams, community partners, county social workers, and families, aiming to provide high-quality mental health services.
Key Responsibilities:
Therapy & Counseling: Provide individual, family, and group therapy, focusing on healing and resilience.
Community Engagement: Lead workshops and participate in outreach efforts to create safe spaces for connection and support.
Holistic Services: Offer crisis intervention, screening, assessment, treatment planning, outpatient mental health services, and peer support.
Collaboration: Work with teams and stakeholders to ensure coordinated care and progress.
Cultural Responsiveness: Deliver inclusive, culturally informed services that reflect the agency’s mission.
Qualifications & Experience:
Graduate degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field, with registration or in-progress licensure (e.g., LCSW, MFT, PhD, PSYD).
Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.
Knowledge of clinical psychology and experience working with diverse populations.
Ability to collaborate in a team-oriented environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Valid CA Driver’s license and reliable transportation.
