Pay: $10,940.00 - $14,344.00 Monthly
Job Summary:
We are looking for a Licensed Psychologist to join our team, ensuring behavioral and psychological information is included in multi-disciplinary reports and plans. Your work will help individuals with developmental disabilities achieve greater self-sufficiency and reach their full potential. The role requires applying psychological methods to provide comprehensive services to individuals with developmental disabilities and supporting the vision of the Agency.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate and provide behavioral information for individuals with developmental disabilities and their families for diagnosis, program planning, and consultation.
Offer guidance on psychological matters, specifically supporting the provision of services to people with developmental disabilities.
Participate as a member of the multi-disciplinary diagnostic and consultation team.
Serve as a teacher and consultant to agency personnel involved in developing and delivering services.
Assist in the creation and evaluation of new and existing programs for individuals with developmental disabilities.
Perform additional tasks as assigned, such as conservatorship petitions, competency evaluations, and diversion plans.
Education and Experience:
Doctorate in Clinical or Educational Psychology from an accredited institution.
Licensed to practice by the California Board of Psychology.
At least two years of experience working with developmental disabilities programs or services.
Skills and Knowledge:
Ability to communicate effectively with clients, their families, and professionals in a supportive and collaborative manner.
In-depth knowledge of psychological principles, methods, and techniques for serving individuals with developmental disabilities.
Expertise in psychological and behavioral test administration, interpretation, and reporting.
Ability to prepare clear, concise verbal and written reports.
Other Requirements:
Must have access to a car, a valid driver’s license, and automobile liability insurance as required by law, OR have an alternative means of transportation.
