Child and Family Therapist
This is a contract-to-hire position
Our leading nonprofit client works to address two critical needs: first, the traumatic effects of homelessness and violence in the lives of young children and their families; and second, to establish a “standard of care” across various shelters and housing programs. By directly engaging with the community, we help children and families address the root traumas that have shaped their worldviews, explore healthier perspectives, and develop practical, non-violent skills to manage stress. This is achieved through comprehensive mental health services, case management, family education and support services, and community leadership.
The program is a supportive, holistic therapeutic community focused on African American/Black families in San Francisco.
