Job Title: Teacher 

Hourly Pay: $26–$37/hour DOE & Credentials
Location: Buena Park Campus
Schedule: 8:00 AM–3:00 PM 
Duration: Temporary Position (3–6+ Months) (can possibly be contract-to-hire depending on performance!)

Position Summary:

Provide specialized instruction for students with disabilities, ensuring the implementation of IEP goals and adherence to IDEA guidelines. Assess student progress and collaborate with parents, staff, and district personnel to support student success. Flexibility to work across different classrooms and age groups is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver individualized, research-based instruction aligned with each student’s IEP

• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed

• Collaborate with parents, related services, and district personnel to develop and present IEPs

• Manage classroom behavior plans and ensure a safe learning environment

• Supervise and provide guidance to paraprofessionals

• Maintain accurate attendance and student documentation

• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Clear California Education Specialist credential from the CTC (Moderate/Severe required)

• Minimum 2 years of experience in an educational setting working with students with disabilities

• Strong understanding of IDEA, IEP development, and special education best practices

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation
