Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)

AMI Network is partnered with a federally qualified healthcare center with locations across Los Angeles, Riverside, & San Bernardino counties to help them find a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for either their Downtown or South-Central location (together we will determine best fit).

This FQHC’s mission is to minimize disparities in healthcare access and outcomes by providing superior-quality, patient-centered healthcare. They provide a variety of services in medically underserved areas such as: primary care, preventative care, minor emergency services, and some specialty services including dental care. As an organization, they take immediate and effective action to remedy all health-related challenges, whether it is a physical ailment or a mental diagnosis.

As the in-house LCSW you will be in the front line of combatting mental healthcare inequities with the backing of an institution with immense resources and with a Chief Administrative Officer that will advocate for you in every endeavor. Broadly speaking, you will provide short term care, long term care, emergency care and even be involved with transitional housing.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Interviewing patients and family members; preparing psychosocial assessments, addressing all pertinent issues of participants.
  • Evaluating data and working with a care team to develop a single plan of care that supports the patient’s overall health and well-being.
  • Educating and assisting patients and family members in understanding and adjusting to the diagnosis/disability, treatment plan and medical recommendations.
  • Preparing and maintaining all pertinent records, statistics and progress notes.
  • Assisting in the development of various program curricula.
  • Supervising MSW interns.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, along with 2-4 years related experience.
  • Licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences strongly preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish required.

Final salary per employer discretion and commensurate with experience.
