We are very excited to find a Full-Time Lead Clinician that is as passionate about empowering the underserved community as we are!

This organization is one of the leading non-profit, community-based agencies in the LA Area. Our mission is centered around minimizing disparities in healthcare access and providing superior-quality, patient-centered healthcare

Joining our team as a Lead Clinician will allow you to work hands-on with those from the community who need you most. Our clinicians work together to help connect their clients to the many resources CNHF offers, conduct assessments, create and manage a care plan, utilize therapeutic modalities, and support mental health programs. This position requires 2 years post-licensure to be able to provide supervisory hours to associates.

We have openings for Licensed / Unlicensed Clinicians. This position does not require evenings or weekends!

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Direct client care in the office
  • Attend appropriate meetings, which include weekly group supervision, staff meetings, trainings
  • Provide leadership and oversight of assigned administrative tasks
  • Work closely with clinical staff to ensure that providers fulfill their job requirements (e.g. timeliness of notes, documentation requirements, professional conduct, competence in their role)
  • Conduct assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans in collaboration with clients, caregivers, and other providers.
  • Provide appropriate mental health services.
  • Follow regulatory guidelines, mandated reporting, and program/agency protocols in performing duties
  • Provide culturally responsive services
  • Perform any other duties as directed.

Qualifications

  • Licensed psychologist, social worker or marriage and family therapist
  • Licensed for 2 years
  • Must be licensed with BBS
  • Direct experience working with culturally diverse populations.
  • Understanding of basic theoretical and developmental principles of mental health.
  • Bilingual in Spanish.
  • Ability to understand psychological assessment reports.
